Check back here regularly to find out what's going on. I have in the region of 50 Brass Rubbings for sale. I recently sold three at Christies in South Kensington. They were in the Christie's Interiors 1-2 November 2011 sale.  The prices they went for are on their website. Google Christies Brass Rubbings.

They are an investment now. Since about 1974 it was forbidden to do rubbings on the original brasses, as they were wearing out. These were done from around 1940 -1973 from original medieval brasses. The majority of brasses date from C11th to the C15th.

I am offering these Brass rubbings individually or for a complete collection. I will consider any sensible offer.
